With restrictions finally easing just in time for my birthday, I practically sprinted to my nail technician for some much-needed restoration. I have an enduring obsession with veined marble nails—specifically the "nuvolato" style, which is Italian for "cloudy." While my technician jokingly calls my loyalty to this look boring, there is something timeless about those ethereal, smoky swirls that I simply cannot quit. It felt like the perfect palette for transitioning from the isolation of winter to the fresh possibilities of spring.
