This season, I wanted to put a sophisticated spin on the aura nail trend dominating our feeds. While the original concept draws on the spiritual energy field—a hazy, diffuse glow centred on the nail—I decided to marry it with the blush-nail aesthetic trending in Korea. It is the perfect intersection of spiritual mischief and quiet luxury, blending a vibrant rainbow spectrum with a soft, ethereal radiance that feels both modern and nostalgic.
To achieve this airbrushed finish, start with a semi-sheer, neutral base to ensure the colours appear to glow from within rather than sitting flat on top. Using a palette of lavender, lemon, sky blue, apple green, and peachy pink, each nail becomes its own soft-focus daydream. If you are DIY-ing this, skip the precision and embrace the sponge; dabbing the pigment in circular motions creates that signature blurred halo.
